Peter’s journey into the Rum is world may have started as a hobby some ten years ago with the launching of TheFloatingRumShack.com – a hobby that saw him travel to Rum producers around the world, and attend as many masterclasses, trainings and presentations as he could; Drinking all the Rum, as much of time as he could manage!

These days it’s very much a full-time, ‘Sugarcane Spirits Category Ambassador’ sort of lifestyle he leads – sharing the love of rum to bring new people to this most awesome of spirit categories and help those who already drink Rum to up their game as much as possible.

Balancing roles as Foursquare Distillery Brand Ambassador, Rum-Guy at ATOM Brands and Global Brand Ambassador for That Boutique-y Rum Company, event host, consultant, IWSC and ADI Rum Panel Chair judge, and occasional professional writer. These days he really is a lapsed blogger, but still tries to drink all the rum!
